The battle saw the three showcasing their exceptional vocals while belting out some popular songs, including the soundtrack of upcoming movie Foxx and Elgort star in, 'Baby Driver'.

AceShowbiz - Jamie Foxx and Ansel Elgort graced "The Late Late Show with James Corden" with their appearances on Friday, June 16. In order to promote their new movie "Baby Driver" on the show, the two actors, who are also singers, treated the audience to their extraordinary voices in an epic riff-off battle with the talk show's host James Corden.

The musical segment opened with Corden talking about dogs in sunglasses. Foxx, who sat among the audience, then interrupted him, saying, "Where the music at? Where the singing at, James? Where the music at? I don't wanna hear about no dogs in sunglasses."

"If I'm hearing this right, are you saying that you came down here to have some kind of riff-off with me?" Corden asked, to which Foxx answered, "That's exactly what I'm suggesting. It's a riff-off."

Backed up by a capella group The Filharmonic, Corden and Foxx kicked off the battle with songs by their favorite male artists. While Corden belted out Bruno Mars' "24K Magic", Foxx went nostalgic with Stevie Wonder's "For Once in My Life".

For the next round, the pair sang the soundtrack from "Baby Driver", which included James Brown's "I Got the Feeling" and Gwen Stefani's "Hollaback Girl". Foxx's co-star in the movie Ansel Elgort then appeared onscreen. "You can't be having a battle without me singing songs from 'Baby Driver'--I am Baby Driver," he said.

The actor then performed a dreamy rendition of '70s funk/soul band The Commodores' hit song "Easy". Awed by the performance, Corden gushed, "That was...phenomenal." The three then ended the segment with a powerful performance of Marvin Gaye's "Ain't No Mountain High Enough".
