The new song will mark the 24-year-old songstress' third collaboration on dance tracks this year, following Cheat Codes' 'No Promises' and Jax Jones' 'Instruction'.

AceShowbiz - So, the rumors are true. Demi Lovato has hit the studio together with DJ Marshmello, and the collaborative track may come sooner than we thought. The song, titled "Love Don't Let Me Go", has been registered on the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP). It reportedly will arrive in July.

Marshmello played the demo version of "Love Don't Let Me Go" at Coachella. The upcoming track was co-written by Louis Bell, Marshmello, Brian Lee, Ali Tamposi and Andrew Watt. And just for your information, they are the same dream team behind DJ Snake's "Let Me Love You" featuring Justin Bieber and Kygo's "It Ain't Me" featuring Selena Gomez.

This news is a solid hint that Demi has been into dance music lately. Besides working on her solo project, she has been assisting several EDM artists this year. She worked with EDM trio Cheat Codes on "No Promises" last May, and her latest collaboration was on English DJ Jax Jones' summer banger "Instruction".

With her growing list of collaboration, the former Disney star has been working hard on her new album. She previously said that she wanted to release "R&B" and "soulful" album later this year. She seemingly doesn't want to disappoint her fans as it has been almost two years since she released her latest full-length effort "Confident".
