DC honors the 1960's Batman by releasing an unaired episode of the canceled NBC comedy featuring the late actor.

AceShowbiz - A week after Adam West's passing, tributes keep pouring in for the late actor. Joining those who show their respect for the 1960's Batman, DC has decided to release an unaired episode of "Powerless" featuring West.

"In honor of our old chum, see a never-aired episode of #Powerless featuring @therealadamwest, only on #DCAllAccess," DC announced on Twitter on Friday, June 16. The episode is available in full for a limited time on their DC All Access channel and DC Entertainment's YouTube channel.

In a brief introduction, DC All Access host Whitney Moore says the video is presented now "as a special tribute to the man who brought us so much joy." West was widely known for his role as the Caped Crusader on the 1960s Batman series and the 1966 feature film.

"Powerless" was pulled from the air in April with two episodes remaining unaired. One of them, titled "Win, Luthor, Draw", features West who guest starred as Dean West, the chairman of Wayne Industries who visits the team in Charm City to deliver some bad news.

The release of unaired "Powerless" episode featuring West comes on the heels of the lighting of a bat-signal onto the tower of Los Angeles City Hall on Thursday to honor the late actor. L.A. Mayor Eric Garcetti as well as West's co-stars Burt Ward, who played Batman's sidekick Robin, and Lee Meriwether, who played Catwoman in "Batman: The Movie", attended the ceremony.

West died on June 9 following a brief battle with leukemia. He was 88.
