AceShowbiz - Wedding bells are on the way for Eliza Dushku. On Thursday, June 15, the 36-year-old actress took to her Instagram account to announce that she got engaged to 53-year-old Boston-based businessman Peter Palandjian with a sweet proposal photo.
Eliza could be seen holding her man's hand while covering her face with her other hand. "#Ayo..! 'YES!!' Absolutely, my love," so she excitedly captioned the snap seemingly taken right after he popped the question. She added the hashtags, "#BostonBorn #BostonBred #BostonSoonToBeWed."
Both Eliza and Peter are from Boston. According to Wikipedia, he is a former professional tennis player and Harvard graduate who is currently the CEO of private equity firm Intercontinental Real Estate Corporation. He has four children from his previous relationship.
Eliza, meanwhile, was in a relationship with Rick Fox before meeting her fiance. The former "Dollhouse" actress and the former Los Angeles Lakers star started dating in 2009 and moved in together in the following year. It was announced in 2014 that they split after five years together.
