One of the amazing performers that night was a married couple Kristina and Vasily, who beautifully performed a ballroom routine with Vasily being blindfolded.

AceShowbiz - "So You Think You Can Dance" is finally back with its original format, after shaking things up in 2015 with the lackluster "Stage Vs. Street" theme and introducing "SYTYCD Jr." in 2016. "SYTYCD" kicked off its season 14 on Monday, June 12, featuring new judge Vanessa Hudgens as well as bringing back judge Mary Murphy. The new season began with the first round of auditions in Los Angeles, where contestants competed for a spot at The Academy callbacks.

First up was Mark Villaver, 26, from Hawaii. Performing a breaking contemporary, he managed to make the crowd be quiet with awe. He mixed contemporary with breaking to create a truly unique experience. Judge Nigel Lythgoe said that he was remarkable and dubbed him "sensational." Vanessa loved his performance and praised him for being a "strong, talented and creative" dancer. Mark went straight through to The Academy.

Kristina and Vasily later hit the stage. The married couple did a ballroom routine so beautifully with Vasily being blindfolded. Despite not being able to see, Vasily danced effortlessly and the couple even shared a sweet kiss while Vasily span Kristina off the ground. "That's the first time I've ever cried over a ballroom routine in the history of this show," said Mary. Kristina and Vasily won the ticket to The Academy.

Robert Green, 24, from North Carolina was up next. Donning intriguing outfit, Robert danced to either animation or pop n lock. His performance was so much fun, making the crowd go wild. Nigel called him "a dancing sandwich." Robert made it to the next round.

Robert's performance was followed by Alexis, 22, from Riverside. Although she said she hadn't slept all week, she nailed her jazz routine. Vanessa thought she had energy. Alexis went to The Academy.

Luke Dryjski, 29, from Tampa later hit the stage. Although he said that he had been dancing for years and was a trained hip hop dancer, he failed to impress the judges. Nigel cut his performance midway. Unfortunately, Luke had to go back to Tampa.

Darius Hickman, 18, from Florida performed a dramatic difficult dance. He said that dancing was his way to get through his life as he was abused since 4. All the judges said no words but gave him a standing ovation with golden ticket in hand. Darius went straight to The Academy.

Rounding out the night were Russian identical twins, Anastasia and Viktoria. The siblings danced to a modern dance. The girls got a standing ovation from the judges. Nigel called it "brilliant entertainment, and beautifully executed." Meanwhile, Mary said it was one of the most unique auditions she's ever seen, and it made her cry. However, Nigel said in an interview that the twins never made it to Academy due to Visa problems.

"So You Think You Can Dance" season 14 airs on Mondays at 8 P.M. on FOX.
