AceShowbiz - The collectors of "Star Wars" memorabilia will be glad to hear that Luke Skywalker's original lightsaber is up for auction. The saber, which was once used by Mark Hamill in 1977's "Star Wars: A New Hope" and 1980's "Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back", is the personal collection of producer Gary Kurtz and will be offered by The Profile Hollywood Auction 89.

The auction will be held between Monday, June 26 and 28 in Los Angeles. The lightsaber is expected to sell between $150,000 and $250,000. The last time a Luke Skywalker lightsaber prop was sold, it was sold for $240,000 at auction.

Another "Star Wars" memorabilia which will be offered at the auction is an actual R2-D2 unit and some original concept arts from Tom Jung used for the original "Star Wars" trilogy. Other memorabilia for sale will include costumes from late legends such as David Bowie, Prince and Michael Jackson.

Hamill will reprise his role as Luke Skywalker in the upcoming "Star Wars: The Last Jedi". Carrie Fisher had finished filming her scenes as General Leia before she passed away last December.

Other returning cast members include John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong'o, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Gwendoline Christie and Andy Serkis. Benicio Del Toro, Laura Dern and Kelly Marie Tran are among the new cast members. The movie is set to hit U.S. theaters on December 15.
