'You can buy a f**king car for that,' said the 'Hell's Kitchen' star, who refused to spend about $19,000 to fly his kids in first class with him and his wife from L.A. to London recently.

AceShowbiz - Gordon Ramsay reportedly has reached boiling point after being slammed for flying first class with his wife Tana on an airplane while their kids sat in the economy section. The famed TV chef is furious after he has been portrayed as a bad dad by saving £15,000 or about $19,000 on airfares.

Speaking after the broadcast of his FOX show "The F Word", Gordon shared, "I got s**t last week from a major newspaper for not sitting my kids in first class." He added, "I did not fly on a f***ing plane until I was 19 years of age."

The "Hell's Kitchen" star also recalled his experience during his first time boarding a plane when he was young. "When I sat on the plane cramped for eight hours with food that was cooked three weeks ago I was just happy to take off and be in a plane," he said.

The TV personality continued, "The fact that I am going to sit a six year old in a first class seat for £15.000 [the equivalent of about $19,000] to fly from L.A. to London… fifteen thousand pounds, you can buy a f**king car for that."

He went on raging, "Why does my six year old need a big f***ing seat, a 10 course menu with caviar and champagne in first class?" before adding, "What are they going to be like when they are 18? They are f**ed."

The 50-year-old restaurant empire owner said that it was his way to not only saving money, but also the way he taught his four kids, Matilda, Jack, Holly and Megan, discipline. Gordon said their children had remained "well grounded" by understanding normal life and that he would continue to "keep things real" with his children.
