Rumor has it, the 'Shake It Off' singer thinks that the 32-year-old songstress is 'purposely trying to keep this feud going' for the sake of album sales.

AceShowbiz - Will this ever end? The feud between Taylor Swift and Katy Perry is getting messier. After Katy said that her nemesis "assassinated" her character in recent interview, Taylor hit back at her by releasing her entire music catalog in all streaming services on the same day Katy released her latest effort "Witness". Despite her bold move, Taylor is reportedly tired of the beef and convinced that Katy only uses their feud to sell her new album.
"Taylor is focused on all the good things in her life, spending time with her mom and her family and her new relationship. She's very caught up with Joe Alwyn and super happy about where things are at with him right now," a source tells HollywoodLife.com. "She's not thinking about Katy and something that happened five years ago, she's moved on and she wishes Katy would too."
Taylor is convinced that her rival keeps ranting about their feud for the sake of album sales. "It's like, why is Katy bringing this up again, they've both said their piece why not just let it go. It really seems like Katy is purposely trying to keep this feud going to sell albums," the source continues. "She's starting to look very petty and Taylor doesn't want to sink down to that level, she wants nothing but love and positivity in her life right now. It's sad that Katy isn't in that place, in a way Taylor feels sorry for her."
On the other hand, Katy is reportedly happy with Taylor's action which adds fuel to their on-going beef. "Katy believes 100% that Taylor made the streaming announcement the same day 'Witness' was released on purpose. And is just playing games to get under her skin," an insider tells HollywoodLife.com. "The way that Katy sees things is that it's a bit of blessing in disguise. Because people are talking more about Katy's album then might have in the first place. Any press is good in Katy's eyes."
The source further claims that the "Chained to the Rhythm" hitmaker is sure that Karma keeps receipts. "Katy was upset for a minute, but then she saw the silver lining of it all. She's looking forward to the move to blow up in Taylor's face," the source shares.
