The 41-year-old actress is reportedly planning to take her kids to Ethiopia in order to celebrate Zahara's adoption date, but she doesn't invite Brad because it's 'too painful' for her.

AceShowbiz - Angelina Jolie is still unable to cope with her split from Brad Pitt. The "Maleficent" star reportedly wants to take her children to a family trip to Ethiopia as a celebration for daughter Zahara's adoption date, but it looks like Brad won't be joining his children because Angie doesn't want to invite him.

"[Angelina]'s always been very committed to each of the children knowing their birth country, and all about their heritage," an insider tells HollywoodLife.com. "She will be taking all of the children [to Ethiopia], and they're really excited as they all love to travel."

However, it seems like the children will have to go without their father. "Angelina hasn't invited Brad - even though both Zahara and Shiloh have said they would love their dad to go - because it's still too difficult and painful for Angelina, and she still harbors a lot of anger towards Brad," the insider shares.

The insider further explains that they still need more time to recover from their messy split. "They've moved on a lot from even a couple of months back, and they are able to talk civilly now. But there's still a way to go before they reach a place of friendship," the insider says.

It was reported that the "Salt" actress was still heartbroken while the "Allied" star was ready to start dating again. "She's confided to her own friends that Brad broke her heart, and that she's still angry at him for throwing his family away," a source revealed. Another source later said that Brad realized he didn't want to be alone forever. "Brad is a passionate, emotional guy who loves being in love so [a new relationship] will definitely happen," the source explained.
