The much-anticipated music video was reportedly taken down because it was released too early from the scheduled time.

AceShowbiz - Liam Payne sent fans into frenzy on Friday morning, June 2 when he released on YouTube the official visuals for his debut solo single "Strip That Down" featuring Quavo. However, the joy didn't last long as a few minutes later, the video was made private and yanked offline due to an unknown reason. Rumor has it, the video was deleted because it was released too early.

The disappearance of the video on YouTube soon became a hot topic on Twitter. "Apparently, the #StripThatDown music video has been released way too early so YouTube took it down," a fan tweeted. Meanwhile, another fan tried to put things straight, writing, "For y'all that are confused the video was taken down because it was released too early it's supposed to be released at 6PM BST."

Although the video only surfaced online for minutes, some fans already got to watch it. The clip began with a dark-skinned model dancing in a sexy body suit. Liam then showed up onscreen, moving his body to the beat. Fans who expected the One Direction star to bare his upper body might be disappointed because the clip only featured Liam getting swag with his collaborator and a crew of dancers.

Co-written by Ed Sheeran, "Strip That Down" is a pop-rap party anthem. It surely lives up to Liam's expectation as a source previously claimed that Liam wanted "his solo music to sound like a mix between Justin Bieber and Drake. It's definitely not going to be a hip-hop album."
