New 'Spider-Man: Homecoming' TV Spot Features Stan Lee Cameo
Movie

Donning a green sweater, the Marvel legend is seen pointing at Spider-Man (Tom Holland) and saying, 'I think I know that guy!'

AceShowbiz - Marvel mastermind Stan Lee once again pops up as a cameo in Marvel's promo, this time in new "Spider-Man: Homecoming" TV spot. Released in honor of the NBA Finals, the TV spot features Peter Parker (Tom Holland), who is desperate to watch the finals, and the one and only Stan Lee.

In the first part of the video, Peter is seen walking through what looks like the Avengers' headquarters, where he bumps into Tony Stark's (Robert Downey Jr.) personal assistant Happy Hogan (Jon Favreau). "Perfect timing," says Happy. "I need you to go downtown and get snacks for Tim Duncan," he continues. Peter reluctantly says, "But, Happy, the game is starting." Happy is clearly not impressed and just ignores him.

The next scene shows Spidey having an encounter with robbers. "You are really screwing up my night," he says. He manages to beat up the TV thieves, then quickly flees the crime scene and yells, "I just want to watch the game!" Stan Lee later pops up out of nowhere in green sweater, pointing at Spidey as he says, "I think I know that guy!"

Stan Lee recently made an appearance as a cameo in "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2". He also appeared in the teaser trailer for "Deadpool 2", in which he said, "Wow! Nice suit!" to Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool.

"Spider-Man: Homecoming" is set after the events in "Captain America: Civil War". Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, Peter returns home, where he lives with his Aunt May (Marisa Tomei), under the watchful eye of his new mentor Tony Stark. Peter tries to fall back into his normal daily routine-distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man-but when the Vulture (Michael Keaton) emerges as a new villain, everything that Peter holds most important will be threatened.

Also starring in "Spider-Man: Homecoming" are Donald Glover, Zendaya Coleman, Laura Harrier, Tony Revolori, Tyne Daly and Bokeem Woodbine. The movie will hit U.S. theaters on July 7.
