The 30-year-old songwriter, who is competing for Rachel Lindsay's heart on the show's season, is under fire after some of his racist and sexist tweets came to light.

AceShowbiz - While he's currently competing for Rachel Lindsay's attention on "The Bachelorette" season 13, Lee Garrett grabbed the headlines for the wrong reason. The singer/songwriter from Jacksonville, Florida lands in hot water after some of his offensive tweets which he posted in 2015 and 2016 were unearthed.

He allegedly posted awful things against feminists, the Black Lives Matter movement, Islam, the LGBT community, Hillary Clinton supporters and the NAACP among others. One of the tweets read, "What's the difference between the NAACP and the KKK?" He also boasted about how "Thousands sign petition to recognize #blacklivesmatter as a terrorist organization after Dallas."

He allegedly also wrote, "Guys... When is the last time YOU actually saw a pretty feminist? There is a reason for this." Another of his offensive tweets read, "Sorry ladies, I can't make the world not exist to fulfill your needs in the appreciation/self worth department #guyissues."

"After all of this 'gay community' talk, all of these rainbow flags instead of American flags," Lee posted, allegedly targeting gays and liberals. The 30-year-old, who loves Donald Trump and proudly describes himself as "pleasantly offensive," also posted against Hillary Clinton, "Hillary is the millennials version of O.J."

Lee's Twitter account has since been made private, but screengrabs of some of his offensive tweets have circulated online. People take to the micro-blogging site to call out the "Bachelorette" contestant, comparing him to DeMario Jackson, who cheated on his girlfriend, and Yancey a.k.a. the "Whaboom" dude.

ABC and production company Warner Horizon Television refuse to comment on the controversy.
