Migos, Future and Bruno Mars Among Performers at the 2017 BET Awards

The 17th annual BET Awards will also see performances from Trey Songz and Tamar Braxton, while more performers will be announced in the coming weeks.

AceShowbiz - This year's BET Awards will apparently be a show to remember. The first batch of performers at the event have been announced and they include hip-hop superstars, namely Migos and Future. The rappers will take the stage at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles along with other A-list artists, such as Bruno Mars, Trey Songz and Tamar Braxton. More performers will be announced in the coming weeks.

Hosted by stand-up comedian Leslie Jones, the award-giving event will see Jamie Foxx, Carmelo Anthony, Jada Pinkett Smith, Regina Hall, Cardi B, Queen Latifah and more as the presenters.

Beyonce Knowles, as usual, leads the pack of nominees with seven nominations, including Best Female R&B/Pop Artist, Best Collaboration for "Freedom" featuring Kendrick Lamar, Video of the Year for "Sorry" and Album of the Year for "Lemonade". Trailing behind Queen Bey is Bruno Mars with five nods. Meanwhile, other nominees include Solange Knowles, Chance the Rapper and Migos with four nominations each.

The 2017 BET Awards will be a part of the BET Experience at L.A. Live in Los Angeles, which is set to run from June 22 to 25. Fans can definitely look forward to the festival as it will feature guest appearances from Snoop Dogg, Wiz Khalifa, Pusha T, Desiigner, Bryson Tiller, Rae Sremmurd, Jhene Aiko and more.

The 2017 BET Awards will air live on Sunday, June 25 at 8 P.M. EST.
