Darci Lynne Farmer earns the Golden Buzzer after she stuns the judges as well as all of the audiences during her ventriloquism performance with a surprising singing act.

AceShowbiz - "America's Got Talent" kicked off its season 12 on Tuesday, May 30. The episode saw talented contestants performing before Melanie Brown a.k.a. Mel B and fellow judges Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel, with Tyra Banks debuting as a host. One of the biggest highlights in the episode was that one of the contestants managed to get the first Golden Buzzer, which allowed the judges to send their favorites directly to the live quarterfinals.

Ventriloquist Darci Lynne Farmer entered the stage with her rabbit puppet named Petunia. When asked by Simon why she decided to join the competition, the 12-year-old girl responded, "It was one of my big dreams. But also I would really like to keep ventriloquism alive, because it's not common."

Much to everyone's surprise, Darci not only proved herself as a good ventriloquist, but also a great singer. Petunia began singing amazingly and she even hushed Darci when she attempted to join in. Once Petunia finished its epic performance, the pair received a standing ovation, which made her burst in tears.

"I think what you do is really special, and I want to know where you found that bunny because that bunny can really sing. It was perfect from beginning to end," Heidi commented. "Your puppet, I'm guessing, is exactly like you, very charming and adorable. You make my heart melt. You were brilliant," Mel added. "I'm trying to describe how amazing it was. You know what?!" she said, before pushing the first Golden Buzzer of the season.

Confetti began to run down and Darci cried harder than ever in both surprise and happiness. Now that Darci earned the Golden Buzzer, she was sent directly to the live quarterfinals. The fact that Mel B decided to use her one and only opportunity to push the Golden Buzzer in the very first episode seemingly spoke a lot of how amazing Darci's act was.
