AceShowbiz - "Marvel's Iron Fist" will likely get a second season, despite the negative reviews from critics and mixed reactions from viewers. Star Finn Jones recently confirmed that a season 2 of the show would be announced soon.

"Iron Fist" was slammed for its casting choices prior to its premiere, but it didn't kill fans' curiosity of Netflix's adaptation of the Marvel comics. The show became the most binge-watched premiere for the streaming service this year, but demand was cut in half in the second week, potentially indicating "that people started binge-watching the show in its first few days and then didn't come back to finish the season the next weekend," according to Business Insider.

Finn Jones' Danny Rand a.k.a. Iron Fist will join forces with other Marvel heroes, Daredevil, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage, on "Marvel's The Defenders", which is set to be released Friday, August 18 on Netflix.
