Latest report says the Audioslave frontman, who had a history of using drugs, had fresh track marks on his arm when his body was discovered in a Detroit hotel room.

AceShowbiz - While results of the toxicology tests have not been released, a new report on Chris Cornell's condition prior to his death has surfaced. It appeared that the late Audioslave frontman had taken other drugs before hanging himself.

Sources connected to the investigation tell TMZ that the 52-year-old singer had fresh track marks on his arm, indicating a potential drug injection, when his body was discovered in a Detroit hotel room in early Thursday morning, May 18. The sources add that the track marks were "obvious."

It was previously reported that Ted Keedick, Chris' longtime house engineer and tour manager, said Chris seemed "high" and "f***ed up" during the concert on Wednesday night, hours before his death. Chris' wife, Vicky, said in a police report that her husband is a recovered drug addict. His lawyer Kirk Pasich also said that Chris "may have taken more Ativan than recommended dosages" prior to his death.

The toxicology tests will reveal if there were drugs found in Chris' system at the time of his death.

His funeral is set for Friday, May 26.
