In a lawsuit filed to Waterbury Superior Court, the family of Travis Ward, who was found dead after being shot multiple times, is seeking more than $15,000 in damages.

AceShowbiz - Meek Mill is being sued over a fatal shooting following his concert back in December, when two men, Jaquan Graves and Travis Ward, were found dead. According to a report from Hartford Courant, Ward's family has filed a lawsuit against Mill as well as Toyota Oakdale Theatre, claiming that they were responsible for the deadly night.

In the papers filed to Waterbury Superior Court, the family alleges that Oakdale and concert promoters didn't provide enough security or take measures to control the crowd. "With song titles like 'Body Count' and 'Oh Kill 'Em' [sic] that praise indiscriminate killing and mayhem, the potential for tragic incidents like this should have been properly anticipated and planned for by Meek Mill, his concert promoters and the Oakdale Theatre," the family's attorney, Joel Faxon, said.

The lawsuit further asserts that the venue was not properly staffed with security, which eventually led to the deadly shooting. Ward was shot several times in the parking lot of the venue and died at the scene. He reportedly attended the concert with family members to celebrate his 31st birthday. The publication reports that Ward's family is seeking more than $15,000 in damages.

Following the lawsuit filing, Mill was spotted stepping out with a mystery brunette during his visit to Dubai. In a photo shared by the women on Instagram, the "All Eyes on You" rapper walked side-by-side with her through what looked like a hotel corridor.

Y'all sip tea .... we sip champ #dubaimemories 😬
