The 29-year-old model loses against the 'Forever' hitmaker in restraining order hearing since she didn't appear in court herself.

AceShowbiz - It seems like Karrueche Tran has to try harder if she really wants to get a permanent restraining order against Chris Brown. The judge reportedly refused to make a ruling since she didn't attend the hearing in person on Tuesday, May 23.

TMZ reported that the 29-year-old model was supposed to be present in court to detail her claims against Chris that included a series of death threats and physical abuse. However, she opted to tell the judge over the phone since she was shooting a TV show in New Orleans.

The judge refused to comply with her wishes. Karrueche had to either appear in person or give a notice that she would appear via phone 12 days before the hearing. Chris himself didn't show up in court despite receiving the legal documents in person after his birthday party in Houston, Texas earlier this month.

Karrueche was granted a temporary restraining order against Breezy in February after claiming that he threatened to shoot her. She also accused him of punching her in the stomach and pushing her down the stairs. A month later, she demanded a permanent restraining order after Chris evaded the service three times. Karrueche added that the "Grass Ain't Greener" singer was as violent to her as he was to Rihanna back in 2009.

The case is currently on hold until Karrueche submits the proper paperwork stating that she won't be able to appear in court.
