Rashad tops the leaderboard after his performances in the first part of the finale, followed close behind by Normani with only three points less than the NFL star's.

AceShowbiz - Who's going to win "Dancing with the Stars" season 24? It's only one night away from finding out the new king/queen of the ballroom as the three finalists performed in the first part of the finale on Monday night, May 22. Each of the pairs performed a redemption dance to a style they'd done before and a freestyle.

David Ross and Lindsay Arnold were up first, dancing a Viennese Waltz. David knew he's not the best dancer here, but he still entertained us with his smile and joyful performance. Len Goodman didn't see much improvement, but Julianne Hough disagreed. He earned 33 out of 40 points.

In the second round, David and Lindsay performed a baseball-themed freestyle which was fun and a huge production. The judges loved it and gave him 40 points. His total score (combined with last week's score) so far is 143.

Normani Kordei and Valentin Chmerkovskiy were the second pair to dance, performing a Quickstep. A rehearsal video showed how she twisted her ankle. Len and Julianne took issue with her cat suit which, according to both judges, caused a lack of body contact. Bruno Tonioli an Carrie Ann Inaba loved it though. Normani earned 38 points.

Later, the judges were not divided when commenting on Normani's Freestyle. It was simple, yet beautiful, with Len calling it "so emotional." Bruno described it, "It was honestly, pure in style and form, like watching angels dancing." She got 40 points for a total score of 154.

Rashad Jennings and Emma Slater picked a Viennese Waltz as their redemption dance. He was praised for his improvement, as Bruno said it was "refined, polished, majestic, smooth as silk." He got 40 points.

The NFL star got another perfect score for his fun freestyle, with a cool drum line breakdown, because Rashad loves marching band drum lines. Julianne gushed, "There are some iconic freestyles, and that was one of them!" Rashad's total score is 157.

On Tuesday night, the pairs will perform 24-hour fusion challenge and the scores will be added to the current scores. The winner will be determined based on the combination of scores and votes.
