Harry Styles' Self-Titled Album Debuts Atop Billboard 200

The British heartthrob's debut solo album blasts to No. 1 in its first week, while Paramore, Machine Gun Kelly and Zac Brown Band debut in the top 10.

AceShowbiz - Following its massive success, Harry Styles' latest effort, "Harry Styles", debuts at No. 1 on Billboard 200 chart. The set sold 230,000 equivalent album units, including 193,000 in traditional album sales in the week ending May 18, according to Nielsen Music.

With the album, Harry nabs the biggest debut sales week for the U.K male artist, surpassing Sam Smith's 2014 effort "In the Lonely Hour". The One Direction star is also the second U.K. male artist to bow at No. 1 on the chart, following his former bandmate Zayn Malik who peaked at No. 1 last year with "Mind of Mine".

At No. 2, Zac Brown Band scores their fifth top 10 album with "Welcome Home". The set launched with 146,000 units, and follows up previous top 10 efforts like 2010's "The Foundation", "You Get What You Give" and 2012's "Jekyll + Hyde", "Uncaged".

Kendrick Lamar's former No. 1 album, "DAMN", is a non-mover at No.3 with 117,000 units, while Chris Stapleton's "From A Room: Volume 1" drops to No. 4 in its second week with 75,000 units. The soundtrack of "Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2" dips one slot to No. 5 with 69,000 units.

Trailing behind is Paramore who scores their third top 10 album with "After Laughter", as the set debuts at No. 6 with 67,000 units. Meanwhile, former chart topper Drake's "More Life" falls to No. 7 with 58,000 units in its ninth week on the list.

Machine Gun Kelly's latest album "Bloom" bows at No. 8 with 47,000 units, including 38,000 in traditional album sales. The set features chart-topping singles like "Bad Things" featuring Camila Cabello, "At My Best" featuring Hailee Steinfeld and "Let You Go". It marks MGK's third effort in the top 10, following 2012's "Lace Up" and 2015's "General Admission".

Rounding out the new top 10 are Ed Sheeran's "Divide (division sign)" which descends to No. 9 with 47,000 units and Bruno Mars' "24K Magic" which slips to No. 10 with 41,000 units.
