The funnywoman leaves 'Saturday Night Live' after season 42, following in the footsteps of Bobby Moynihan and Vanessa Bayer.

AceShowbiz - Another "Saturday Night Live" crew member is leaving. Sasheer Zamata has just been confirmed that she will not return to the late-night sketch show when a new season kicks off this fall. The comedienne has been on the show for four seasons, joining the crew in 2014.

Zamata was recruited by Lorne Michaels after the show faced backlash over the lack of diversity in casting. Her departure was announced shortly after season 42 came to an end. She followed in the footsteps of fellow "SNL" cast Bobby Moynihan and Vanessa Bayer who bid their goodbye on the episode hosted by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

Moynihan has since joined Disney's "DuckTales" as the voice of Louie. He is also cast on new CBS comedy "Me, Myself & I".
