'Aquaman' production is currently underway in Australia and director James Wan and Heard have shared first photos of Heard as the Queen of Atlantis.

AceShowbiz - Director James Wan has taken to Twitter and Instagram to share the first photo of Amber Heard as Aquaman's (Jason Momoa) wife Mera. Shortly after, Heard also posts a photo of her character on her Twitter account.
"Lady MERA swept in from the sea. First day with the exquisite Amber Heard. (Shot by the talented @jasinboland)," writes Wan in the caption. Meanwhile, Heard's caption reads, "Meet Mera. Day 1 #Aquaman."

"Aquaman" production is currently underway in Australia. Earlier on, Warner Bros.' press release announced that the filming would take place "mainly in locations spanning the stunning Gold Coast of Queensland, Australia, with extensive filming to be accomplished at Village Roadshow Studios." It would also be set in Newfoundland, Sicily and Tunisia.
"Aquaman" follows the story of Arthur Curry, a half-man and half-Atlantean who leads Atlantic Ocean and tries to gain his glory. Enters his half brother, Orm (Patrick Wilson), who is as powerful and creating a hindrance that puts everything in havoc. Aquaman is obliged to prevent his evil half-brother from snatching his empire of high seas.
Also starring in "Aquaman" are Nicole Kidman (Atlanna), Willem Dafoe (Nuidis Vulko), Temuera Morrison (Thomas Curry), Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (Black Manta) and Dolph Lundgren (King Nereus).
"Aquaman" is set to hit U.S. theaters on December 21, 2018.
