It has been officially announced by CBS that the 38-year-old actor/comedian will host the event for the second time next year.

AceShowbiz - The 60th Grammy Awards will return to Madison Square Garden next year and it has been confirmed that this year's host James Corden will return to serve as the master of ceremonies of the award-giving event. CBS made the announcement on Wednesday, May 17 during the network's upfront presentation to advertisers at Carnegie Hall in New York City.

Earlier this year, Corden replaced LL Cool J who did the honor at the music's biggest night for five years prior. Besides the Grammys, the English comic had plenty of award ceremony experiences. He previously hosted the 70th annual Tony Awards and has served as MC at Brit Awards five times.

"I like nerves. I think nerves are good. I think you're only nervous when you want to do your best," Corden said last February. "I haven't gone to bed for like a month now where I have not been thinking about the Grammy Awards, because it means a lot to me to host it and I just don't want to let anybody down. I want the show to be a true celebration of everybody in that room."

"The Late Late Show with James Corden" host has received positive reviews for his performance at the 2017 Grammys. The event saw Corden rapping his intro, stumbling down a staircase on purpose and hosting a star-studded edition of his infamous "Carpool Karaoke". He invited Jennifer Lopez, John Legend, Jason Derulo, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw and more to join him onstage to sing a rendition of Neil Diamond's "Sweet Caroline".

The Grammys air on January 28, 2018 on CBS.
