AceShowbiz - Amy Schumer and boyfriend Ben Hanisch have called it quits after nearly a year and a half together. While the reason for their split remains unknown at this time, a rep for the actress tells PEOPLE that the pair have ended their relationship after "thoughtful consideration."
When reached by Radar Online, Hanisch refuses to give comment regarding the report. "I'm going to have to decline to comment," he says. "I'm just going to say no comment." The pair reportedly remain friends, though they no longer have a special relationship.
Speculation of their split began swirling after the two had not actually been seen together since January. Schumer and Hanisch had also been appearing less frequently on their respective social media accounts. The Chicago-based furniture designer did not even accompany the star at the premiere of her latest film, "Snatched", earlier this month.
Just a few weeks ago, Schumer told Howard Stern that she and Hanisch were still dating. "He was my first match," she said, recalling their first meeting on the dating app Raya. "The picture was him dancing with his grandma at like a wedding. It was really cute." When Stern asked her if they had already discussed marriage, she replied, "We are talking about today. I love the idea of committing to someone and making that choice and I want to have a family but right now, we are not in talks."
