The rapper is allegedly flying to New York on a commercial flight instead of a luxe private jet he posted on Instagram, making Twitter users troll his flub by posting hilarious fake scenario.

AceShowbiz - Shad Moss a.k.a. Bow Wow gets roasted on social media for faking his Instagram post. The rapper/reality star recently took to the photo-sharing platform to share a photo which indicated that he was flying to New York City on a super luxurious private jet. "Travel day. NYC press run for Growing Up Hip Hop. Lets gooo. I promise to bring yall the hottest show EVER. May 25th on @wetv," he captioned it.
However, it turned out that he made a fool of his Instagram followers as he was caught flying on an allegedly commercial flight instead. "So this guy lil bow wow is on my flight to NY. But on Instagram he posted a picture of a private jet captioned 'traveling to NY Today' smh," a sneaky fan captioned a snap of him on commercial flight on Snapchat. In addition, a Twitter user found that he also stole the photo he shared from a website of a Florida transportation company.

Shortly after the photo went viral, Twitter users began making fun of Bow Wow's social media flub. They even created a trending hashtag #BowWowChallenge, in which they posted photos of themselves in hilarious more-than-meets-the-eye scenarios. NBA on TNT even joined in as it posted a photo of Shaquille O'Neal holding an obviously-Photoshopped Free Throw Champion trophy.

However, it seems that the trolls hardly affect the rapper. In response to the recent backlash over his social media blunder, Bow Wow told HollywoodLife.com, "The thing with the Internet is-we live in a time where it's a show and prove type of thing." He continued, "A lot of people can't take comments. A lot of people can't take scrutiny. So therefore, as a man, I hope you have balls to stand up for yourself and fight for yourself."

The 30-year-old hunk went on saying in defense, "A guy like me, like today they put up a story about me not coming to New York in a private plane…but I know how I got to New York, you know what I mean? So it's like…what do I have to prove?" He added that he would not be bothered to get on his Instagram and made a one minute explanation video. "Like for what? Cause then you'll get comments like 'You're Bow Wow, you have nothing to prove.' So therefore, if you know who you are you've got nothing to prove," he explained.
