Kevin Feige explains which studio owns movie rights to the cosmic beings who made cameos in 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2'.

AceShowbiz - After Marvel and Fox treated movie fans to different versions of Quicksilver, now there might be different takes on The Watchers in the big screen. Kevin Feige confirms in a new interview that Marvel shares the cosmic beings committed to observing the universe with 21st Century Fox who does "X-Men" and "Fantastic Four" movie franchises.
"There's joint custody with a number of things. There are certain characters that they have, but races that we share. If that makes sense?" so Feige told /Film. The Watchers have already made cameos on "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" in post-credit scenes, but the first Watcher named Uatu was first introduced in "Fantastic Four #13".
Fox's reboot of "The Fantastic Four" was a disaster in 2015. Starring Miles Teller, Michael B. Jordan, Kate Mara, Jamie Bell and Toby Kebbell, it only earned $168 million worldwide against a budget of $120 million. Along with "Fifty Shades of Grey", it was named Worst Picture at the 36th Golden Raspberry Awards.
