The 39-year-old spitter is reportedly 'smack in the middle of the creative process' for his new album in the remote area.

AceShowbiz - It looks like Kanye West plans to stay out of spotlight for a little while longer. After deleting all of his social media accounts and being absent at Met Gala last week, he has now been reportedly spending time to work on his new album on a secluded mountaintop in Wyoming.

According to TMZ, the rapper has been holed up at the top of a mountain for a week. He was believed to go there two weeks ago, too. However, it is still unclear whether Kanye uses the retreat to find inspiration or to record new music there. An insider said, "He always records in different remote places. For years it was Jamaica."

Prior to this, Kanye also went into exile in 2009. After isolating himself for several months in Hawaii, he eventually returned with a masterpiece called "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy".

The last time Kanye appeared on camera was during Valentine's dinner date with his wife Kim Kardashian. He didn't even attend his Yeezy fashion show last February. In addition, he hasn't performed since his hospitalization in November last year which forced him to cancel a series of his "Saint Pablo Tour".

Kanye's latest album "The Life of Pablo" was released on February 14, 2016. He reportedly worked on it for three years, so we can safely assume that Kanye would be in Wyoming for a while.
