'Marvel's Runaways' Gets Series Order at Hulu, Debuts Official First Look

The new young-adult superhero series is officially ordered to series and gives a first look at the six main teen heroes.

AceShowbiz - "Marvel's Runaways" is officially picked up by Hulu. The comic book adaptation about a group of diverse teenagers who reluctantly join forces against a common foe - their parents has received a straight-to-series order at the streaming service.

An official first look at the main characters is also unleashed. They are played by Rhenzy Feliz, Lyrica Okano, Virginia Gardner, Ariela Barer, Gregg Sulkin and Allegra Acosta. Meanwhile, the parents who are a part of an organization called The Pride are portrayed by Ryan Sands, Angel Parker, Brittany Ishibashi, James Yaegashi, Kevin Weisman, Brigid Brannagh, Annie Wersching, Kip Pardue, James Marsters and Ever Carradine.

The new series is expected to have 10 episodes. Following in the footsteps of "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." on ABC and "Marvel's The Defenders" on Netflix, it is scheduled to debut sometime in 2018. Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage ("The O.C.") serve as executive producers.
