The Australian raptress took to social media on Tuesday, May 2 to announce that the banger will arrive on May 19. The announcement came along with the upcoming track's artwork.

The cover art sees Iggy sporting crimson bodysuit while posing seductively in front of the camera. She shows off her hand tattoos and flaunts generous amount of her ample cleavage. Meanwhile, her collaborator is absent from the cover art. She simply captioned it, "May 19th."

Fans couldn't contain their excitement following the announcement. A fan gushed, "Can't wait to listen it. I'm expecting it was going to be the song of the summer!" Another gave similar response, writing, "Put Anitta on the cover... the music is not only yours, but less selfish. Hug."

May 19 is actually not the original release date of "Switch". It was initially set to arrive on May 12. Iggy previously announced that she had to delay the track's release until she got an official release date. "[It] will not be released on May 12, guys," she wrote. "Sorry! I see everyone is excited, just wanted to clarify that for you...don't want you counting down to a day where nothing happens."
