AceShowbiz - Robin Williams' final movie "Absolutely Anything" finally gets a U.S. release date. Deadline reports that Atlas Distribution will release the comedy in the limited theaters across the country on May 12. The comedy had hit U.K. theaters last year via Lionsgate.

"Absolutely Anything" also starred Simon Pegg, Kate Beckinsale, John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle and Michael Palin. "Monty Python" veteran Terry Jones directed and co-wrote the movie from a script he wrote alongside Gavin Scott 20 years earlier.

"Absolutely Anything" follows a disillusioned school teacher (Pegg) who suddenly finds he has the ability to do anything he wishes, a challenge bestowed upon him by a group of power-crazed aliens (voiced by Cleese, Gilliam, Jones, Palin and Idle), watching him from space.

As he struggles to deal with these new found powers and the events that subsequently arise, he calls upon his loyal canine companion Dennis (voiced by Robin Williams) to help him along the way. Mishap after mishap finally leads him to the ultimate conundrum that all men dread and at which many have failed...should he choose the girl...or the dog...?

Williams passed away only three weeks after he completed the movie. Autopsy results revealed that Williams' death was caused by asphyxia and hanging. The actor had notable achievements throughout his life, which included winning an Oscar for his performance as a psychologist in "Good Will Hunting" and nabbing Oscar nominations for his performance in 1988's "Good Morning, Vietnam", 1990's "Dead Poets Society" and 1992's "The Fisher King".
