AceShowbiz - In anticipation of the release of his third studio album "Bloom" on May 12, Machine Gun Kelly released yet another track off the upcoming set. Titled "Let You Go", the song is about a bad breakup on which MGK cannot move on from his ex-lover. The song combines rap and rock and is dominated by electric guitar sound. With catchy chorus and sweet lyrics, the song amazingly showcases MGK's clear vocal and rap skill.
"Ayy, I still remember what you wore on the first night/ Still remember how that black dress had your curves right/ Still remember smokin' just to calm my nerves/ 'Til you had to leave and grabbed your purse, I grabbed first/ Uh, there's no words, yeah, it's just her/ Body against mine, makeup on my shirt/ Lipstick on my neck, whiskey on my breath/ Takin' pictures in the moment so we don't forget, yeah," MGK raps.
"Let You Go" follows up "Bad Things" ft. Camila Cabello, "At My Best" ft. Hailee Steinfeld and "Trap Paris" ft. Quavo and Ty Dolla $ign. MGK is apparently very proud of the new single. He wrote it himself, taking an inspiration from his bad breakup.

"Let You Go" seemed like a treat to the Cleveland rapper's fans as on the same day, he announced that he would postpone three shows due to health issue. He rescheduled his concerts in North Dakota, Iowa and Oklahoma to May. He wrote, "As many of you know I sustained a pretty intense chest injury on a movie set last week. Since then I've seen multiple doctors in attempt to speed up my recovery process. I was advised to take one month off to make sure I fully recovered but you know that's not how I rock."
