Written by Sia Furler, the EDM song finds Ariana singing about her toxic romance that she can't escape, because she's still in love with her boyfriend though her friends see him as a trouble.

AceShowbiz - Cashmere Cat previously teased his fans with a preview of his Ariana Grande-assisted track during his show in Pittsburgh. Just three days after teasing it, the Norwegian DJ released the song titled "Quit" in full along with its lyric video.

Written by Sia Furler, the dreamy electro-ballad begins with a keyboard progression before Cashmere throws in a massive tropical house-inspired drop in the middle of the song. The four-minute track finds Ariana singing about a toxic relationship that she can't escape. She's still in love with her boyfriend though her friends tell her to get away from him because they see the man as a trouble.

"They say, 'No, don't pick up the phone, let them think there's nobody home'/ But I'm under your spell/ 'Cause when you call my heart starts to roll/ I always want more/ It's my heaven, my hell," Ariana sings on the second verse.

On the same day of the track release, Cashmere unleashed his long-awaited debut album "9". Laced with 10 songs in total, the star-studded project boasts appearances from The Weeknd, Selena Gomez, Camila Cabello, Ty Dolla $ign, Jhene Aiko and more. Aside from producing his own set, the 29-year-old DJ worked with several artists, including Kanye West, Britney Spears, Travis Scott (II) and more, over the past few years.
