The nearly-four-minute song finds Perry and the Atlanta trio seducing their lovers with some food-related terms like cherry pie, wine, donut, whipped cream and more.

AceShowbiz - After much of anticipation, Katy Perry has finally unleashed the follow-up to "Chained to the Rhythm" featuring Skip Marley. Titled "Bon Appetit", the nearly-four-minutes track finds Perry teaming up with Atlanta hip-hop trio Migos to seduce their lovers with some food-related terms.

"Bon Appetit" finds Perry likening herself to a mouth-watering food, which is served in a five-star Michelin restaurant. "Looks like you've been starving/ You've got those hungry eyes/ You could use some sugar/ 'Cause your levels ain't right," she sings over dance-tinged beats.

Elsewhere on the song, she seduces her lover, singing, " 'Cause I'm all that you want, boy/ All that you can have, boy/ Got me spread like a buffet/ Bon appetit, baby/ Appetite for seduction/ Fresh out the oven/ Melt in your mouth kind of lovin'/ Bon appetit, baby."

However, it appears that the song hasn't gone down well with Perry's fans. They are angry because Migos has previously made homophobic and misogynistic remarks, notably when an Atlanta rapper named I LOVE MAKONNEN came out as gay. According to TMZ, the group's member, Quavo, allegedly made a harsh comment about the rapper, saying, "This world is not right."

Prior to releasing the song, Perry emailed her fans a recipe to bake the "World's Best Cherry Pie." It reportedly had since caused discomfort among KatyCats as the word "cherry pie" has a strict connotation in the context of pop music. It all started with metal band Warrant's 1990 single "Cherry Pie", which was a big reference to the female anatomy.
