Kim Kardashian Shares How Paris Robbery Has Changed Her Life

The 33-year-old reality TV star guests on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' and says that the Paris robbery has taught her a lot of life lessons.

AceShowbiz - Kim Kardashian appeared on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" on Thursday, April 27 and shared details about the Paris robbery that happened to her in 2016. Kim told Ellen DeGeneres that the robbery "was so meant to happen to me" as she broke down in tears.

"I wanna talk to you about the Paris incident. I don't know that everybody understands how horrific that experience must have been for you," Ellen began. Kim started tearing up as she answered, "I know this sounds crazy, but I know that was meant to happen to me. I don't want to start crying, but I feel like that was so meant to happen to me."

The wife of Kanye West stated that the incident happened for a reason. "I'm such a different person. I don't want to start crying anymore. It was meant to happen to me. I really feel like things happen in your life to teach you things," she said.

She then talked about how she used to love "showing off" her expensive stuff on "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" as well as social media. "It was probably no secret - and you see it on the show. I was being flashy and I was definitely materialistic before," she admitted.

After the robbery, Kim revealed that she doesn't want to live her life the way she used to. "I just don't care about that stuff anymore. I really don't," she said. "I don't care to show off the way that I used to. Even though there's nothing wrong, truly, it's okay if you're proud of that and you work so hard and you get something. It's just not who I am anymore."

The mother of two added that although she was incredibly traumatized, she's glad that she got a chance to be a better person for her family, especially her children. "I'm so happy that my kids get 'this' me," she concluded.
