Inside Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton's Plan to Get More Money From 'The Voice'

The lovebirds apparently have teamed up together to negotiate for a higher paycheck as they reportedly make up 50 percent 'of the judging panel' on the NBC singing competition.

AceShowbiz - Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton apparently make a brilliant match. They are perfect for each other for not only private lives, but also for business matters as they team up to get more money from "The Voice".

"Gwen and Blake have teamed up together in negotiations with 'The Voice'," a source tells Naughty Gossip. The source then adds, "Together they make up 50% of the judging panel and know they have more power united than they do alone."

With that strategy, the insider claims that Gwen and Blake, who both serve as coaches on the show, "have doubled" their power on NBC's singing competition. The source later dubs the plan "a very smart move" and assumes that Gwen and her boyfriend are following in the steps of "Friends" cast members, who got together when negotiating their deal. "So it only makes sense that Gwen and Blake team up," adds the source.

Previously, it was reported that Gwen threatened to quit the show if they brought back Miley Cyrus for the upcoming season 13. Although the show's producers begged the "Hollaback Girl" singer not to leave, source says, "Gwen just does not want to be any part of the show when Miley returns."
