Will Smith and DJ Jazzy Jeff to Reunite for First Live Performances in 12 Years

The two 'The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air' stars will be returning to the stage as a hip-hop group on two sets in Croatia and the U.K. this summer.

AceShowbiz - DJ Jazzy Jeff and The Fresh Prince plans to make their comeback this year. Will Smith a.k.a The Fresh Prince took to Facebook on Monday, April 24 to share a vintage video and announce the hip-hop duo's upcoming acts which would mark their first live performances since 2005. He wrote alongside the video, "First two shows are locked!!! Y'all ready?"

The clip features Smith and his partner DJ Jazzy Jeff in the footage of '90s TV series they both starred on, "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air". The pair will be performing at MTV Summerblast Festival on August 26 in Croatia and Livewire Festival on August 27 in the U.K.

Smith and Jeff last made music together in 1998, before the former focused more on his solo music and acting career. They, under the name of DJ Jazzy Jeff and The Fresh Prince, have released five albums, including 1991's "Homebase" which features hit single "Summertime". They won their first Grammy Award in 1989 for Best Rap Performance with "Parents Just Don't Understand".

Back in 2015, Smith teased about possible world tour. He said, "I'm pretty certain I'm going on tour. Jeff and I actually never have done a full tour-- I always on Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, I was always making a movie, so we've never actually done a full tour."
