The former 4Minute member gets bashed by fans after saying that wearing revealing outfits on stage shouldn't be seen as a bad thing.

AceShowbiz - HyunA receives backlash online after saying that skin exposure on stage should be justified. During a recent interview for her reality show "Triple H Detective Agency", she shares how frustrated she is because people see skin exposure on stage as something "illegal." The "Red" hitmaker says that it should be seen the way people see skin exposure in films or dramas.

"Talks about my skin exposure will be something I have to deal with for the rest of my career," she says. "I don't like exposing skin when it's not justified. It's upsetting how skin exposure on stage isn't justified when skin exposure on dramas or movies is allowed."

Her statement causes fans to react harshly, saying that it is just an excuse for the 25-year-old rapper to keep her sexy image. "Where in the world can you find justified skin exposure?" one commenter says. "You made it this far with only with sex appeal and no singing skills, don't suddenly act like what you're doing is artistic at all," another says.

However, a lot of people also defend her, stating that wearing revealing outfits on stage should not be seen as a tool to judge someone's personality. "I think she's saying her skin exposure shouldn't be seen as being a a bad thing since it's all part of a concept and the performance. It's not like she walking into church wearing those outfits," one comments. Another adds, "Actors don't get s**t for showing skin in movies cause it's their 'character' but all of sudden when it's an idol, they get labeled as 'slutty.' "

HyunA has been known for her sexy and fierce concept since her debut in 2009 with 4Minute. The "Ice Cream" songstress often wears revealing outfits for her performances and music videos, creating a perception that she's selling her body for fame.

She is currently preparing for a new unit group Triple H with her juniors, Hui and E'Dawn from boyband Pentagon. A preview video was released on April 15, revealing the group's summer-ish concept.

Triple H is set to release their mini album titled "199X" on May 1.
