AceShowbiz - It looked like Abel Tesfaye a.k.a. The Weeknd's one of the people wishing Gigi Hadid a happy birthday on Sunday, April 23. Based on Gigi's Snapchat account, the "Starboy" hitmaker might have sent the model a birthday gift, despite dumping her sister Bella late last year.
Gigi took to the social media to show an array of gifts from her birthday while crediting the name of Abel, suggesting that Bella's ex pitched in on the present. The Weeknd seemingly showered the older Hadid sister with some expensive roses on her 22nd birthday.
The Weeknd aside, Gigi got some throwback love from her family on her birthday. Her sister Bella, mom Yolanda, brother Anwar and dad Mohamed all posted touching tributes and throwback photos of the blonde beauty on social media.
Bella, who shared a slew of pictures on Instagram, also wrote a lengthy message to her big sis. "Happy birthday to my best friend FOR F**king LIFE!!!!!!!! My role model! My person," she began. "I feel so lucky every day to call you my sister. I didn't know anyone could be so generous, smart, funny, talented, hard working, artistic, loving, respectful AND beautiful all at the same damn time!!!"
"Every one that knows you, immediately feels the incredible energy that radiates throughout you," the 20-year-old model continued to gush. "Thank you for always being yourself, nothing more and nothing less. You are my other half & I don't know what I would ever do without you."
Mom Yolanda noted how proud she's of her daughter Gigi aside from wishing her a happy birthday. "Happy birthday my sweet Angel...I pray that each day Love, Health and Happiness will come your way," so the model-turned-reality TV star wrote. "I'am so proud of the human being that you are and grateful to experience this journey of life with you everyday through the good and the bad. May all your dreams come true this coming year and let it be filled with joy and laughter."
Younger brother Anwar, meanwhile, kept it cute by saying, "Gigi! I love you so much and am so proud of how hard you work every single day, so proud to call u my sister and i hope this year brings you truth, days off, and maybe a magic pony."
As for her dad Mohamed, he posted an adorable photo of him hugging Gigi with the accompanying message that read, "Happy birthday G. Love you for ever. May God give you what you want. Peace of Mind and for ever love. Health and joy. I am here to lean on @gigihadid."
