'They were really each other's first love,' a friend of Britney says of the singer's past relationship with the former NSYNC member.

AceShowbiz - Britney Spears has been romantically linked to several men following her heart-wrenching split from Justin Timberlake. But a new report suggests that the 35-year-old singer has a hard time to move on from the former NSYNC member, before revealing the reason the diva can't get over her ex-beau.
A friend of Britney named Alexandra Wright told Radar Online that at the time the "Slumber Party" hitmaker and the 36-year-old actor/singer started dating, they're "really each other's first love." The pal noted, "They were in the same place. They were both kids going through the same thing."
Britney made her breakthrough in the early '90s as a member of "The Micky Mouse Club", where she was said bonding with then-fellow castmate Justin. The two became close, and sources revealed at the time, they're indeed starting a relationship.
"They even said that they had shared their first kiss together when they were on the 'Mickey Mouse Club'," said Managing Editor of the National Enquirer Melissa Cronin. "Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake dating was like the pop princess and pop prince coming together for a royal wedding."
After abruptly ending her three-year relationship with Justin in early 2002, Britney's said constantly searching for "the love she shared with [Justin]." The "...Baby One More Time" hitmaker was married twice, to Jason Allen Alexander in 2004 and to Kevin Ferdelini from late 2004 to 2007.
Britney is currently dating Sam Asghari, who appears in her music video "Slumber Party". The lovebirds spent the weekend in Malibu. In an image she posted on social media, Britney looked happy as she was all smiles while soaking in the sun and putting an affectionate display with her beau.
