The 'New Americana' songstress recently opened up about her admiration for Drake and her excitement of possible future collaboration with him.

AceShowbiz - Halsey is apparently a huge fan of Drake. In a recent interview, she claimed that she would love to hit the studio together with the "Hotline Bling" hitmaker. With "More Life" staying steady at No. 1 on Billboard Hot 100, Drake seems to be everyone's favorite now. The 22-year-old songstress even already had something in her mind about how the collaboration would be, saying that it would be "a really cool and dance-y collaboration.

"I would love to work with Drake for an album. Everything he touches turns to gold. And I am getting my feet in the water with music that is a little more dance-inspired. If I ever got to do a really cool dance-y collaboration, I definitely would want to do it with Drake!" Halsey told HollywoodLife.com.

Halsey also admitted that she is really into dance music nowadays. She added, "When I made my first album ['Badlands'], I had never been in a club. I was 19. I never had a legal drink. But I'm 22 now, and I'm about to put out my next record before my 23rd birthday, so I go to clubs and bars around the world and I'm experiencing dance music culture for what it is."

Besides Drake, Halsey is apparently obsessed with Lady GaGa. She expressed her wish to come to Coachella and watch her idol this weekend. She even confessed that she had been dragged off before during the Mother Monster's concert. "If you catch me or my mugshot online, it's because I ran on stage during the Lady Gaga concert and got dragged off." In addition, Halsey said she would love to team up with Gaga, saying, "I think she would cook up something crazy for me to do, like wear a jet pack or something."

Halsey is currently gearing up to release her upcoming album "Hopeless Fountain Kingdom" which is set to arrive on June 2.
