Snoop Dogg accepted Rock and Roll Hall honor on behalf of Tupac Shakur, while Alicia Keys, YG and T.I. performed medleys to honor the late hip-hop star.

AceShowbiz - As a music legend, Tupac Shakur will never be forgotten. At the 2017 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony on Friday, April 7, Snoop Dogg, Alicia Keys, YG and T.I. honored the late rapper with riveting medleys. Besides the performances, Snoop gave a heartfelt induction speech to pay tribute to his friend.

Snoop took the stage to induct the late West Coast rap god who was welcomed into the Hall almost 21 years after he was murdered at the age of 25. Snoop said in his speech, "When I sat down to gather my thoughts about my labelmate, my homie, my brother, there's one thought I kept coming back to: that Tupac was an actual human being. While everyone now thinks of him as some thugged-out superhero, Tupac was many things: strong and vulnerable, hardheaded and intellectual, revolutionary and-- oh yeah, don't get it (messed) up-- gangsta."

Besides giving a speech, Snoop teamed up with YG to perform his hit collaborative song with Tupac "2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted". YG tackled Tupac's verses, spitting in a breathless rush, while Snoop joined him with a steady pace.

Alicia Keys also honored the late hip-hop superstar by performing a medley which included previews of several Tupac's songs like "Ambitionz az a Ridah", "I Get Around", "I Ain't Mad at Cha" and "Dear Mama".

T.I. channeled his inner Tupac at the event. Wearing Tupac's iconic bow tie bandana and leather corset, he covered Tupac's "Keep Ya Head Up".
