The singer/actor is tapped to portray the late designer's longtime partner Antonio D'Amico in the upcoming third season of the FX true crime anthology series. It will be his reunion with Ryan Murphy after his stint on "Glee".
Edgar Ramirez lands the role of Gianni Versace while Darren Criss is booked to play sociopath Andrew Cunanan who murdered the designer at his Miami Beach mansion in 1997. Penelope Cruz joins the cast ensemble to play the fashion icon's sister Donatella Versace.
After successfully chronicling the trial of O.J. Simpson following the murder of his wife Nicole Brown Simpson, "American Crime Story" will steer clear of court drama in the second season. The show will depict the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina before delving into the death of Versace. Both seasons are expected to air in 2018. The fourth one will take on Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky sex scandal.
