AceShowbiz - Brad Pitt's mother Jane Pitt is reportedly begging Jennifer Aniston to help his son. Rumor has it, Jane recently called Jennifer and asked her to keep in touch with Brad amid his ongoing divorce and custody battle against Angelina Jolie.
"Jane knows Jen's remarried [to actor Justin Theroux], but she believes she and Brad were meant to be together," an insider tells Radar Online, "She would love them to get back together-she loves Jen like a daughter and always will."
Jane, however, is well aware that there's almost no chance Brad and Jennifer will ever reunite at this point.
The insider explains, "Jane's devastated at the state her son's in, he is just not doing well right now, and she's begged Jen to please take him under her wing and help him get back on his feet. Despite the terrible way Brad treated her, Jane and Jen have never lost contact."
According to the insider, Jennifer "has been in touch with Brad." The insider adds, "While she'll never go back to him, there's definitely been a lift on the no-contact rule from her inner circle."
