The upcoming ABC series has finally gotten a synopsis which reveals the appearance of Military coup and surprising interaction between the Inhumans, lush world and humanity.

AceShowbiz - ABC finally releases the synopsis of "Marvel's Inhumans". First reported by Spoiler TV, the description of the upcoming series centering on the Royal Family has surfaced online.

The synopsis teases an appearance of Military coup and how the Royal Family ends up in Hawaii. "After the Royal Family of Inhumans is splintered by a military coup, they barely escape to Hawaii where their surprising interactions with the lush world and humanity around them may prove to not only save them, but Earth itself," the synopsis reads.

A coup is nothing new for those who are familiar with the comics. The Royal Family has been threatened by a character known as Maximus (will be played by Iwan Rheon) multiple times. Fans also assume that Ellen Woglom's undisclosed character may have a connection with the military coup, saying that she may possibly be the one to discover that Inhumans were residing in moon-based city of Attilan.

Although the brief synopsis doesn't mention a distinct reason of what causes them to flee, an attack on Attilan may have caused them to leave. Lockjaw may play a big role in transporting the Inhumans to Earth. But how exactly they will save the day and Earth remains to be seen by far.

"Inhumans" follows "a race of superhumans with diverse and singularly unique powers, [which] were first introduced in Marvel Comics by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in 1965. Since that time, they have grown in prominence and become some of the most popular and iconic characters in the Marvel Universe. 'Marvel's The Inhumans' will explore the never-before-told epic adventure of Black Bolt and the royal family."

The eight-episode series stars Anson Mount as Black Bolt, Serinda Swan as Medusa, Isabelle Cornish as Crystal and Sonya Balmores as Auran. Also starring on the series is Mike Moh as Triton.

Scott Buck, Jeph Loeb and Jim Chory are set to executive produce the series with Marvel Television and ABC Studios co-producing. Buck also serves as showrunner.

Directed by Roel Reine, the first two episodes will screen in IMAX theaters on September 1 while the full eight episodes will air on ABC this fall.
