AceShowbiz - "Man Down" flopped in U.K. during its limited theatrical debut across the pond. The indie drama led by Shia LaBeouf reportedly only sold one ticket, raking in 7 pound or $8.7 when it opened at a cinema in Burnley over the weekend.
The movie revolves around a soldier searching for his estranged son and battling PTSD after his return from Afghanistan. Directed by Dito Montile ("A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints"), it's also supported by the likes of Gary Oldman, Jai Courtney and Kate Mara.
The flick premiered at 2016 Venice Film Festival before playing at the Toronto International Film Festival and heading to U.S. theaters in December. It fared much better stateside, collecting an estimated $454,490. It's now available for video on demand and will be released on DVD and Blu-ray next month.
