Movie

Renner's involvement with 'Avengers: Infinity War' and his possible involvement with 'Ant-Man' sequel may be the reason why he won't return in 'Mission: Impossible 6 '.

AceShowbiz - Jeremy Renner apparently will not only reprise his role as Hawkeye in "Avengers: Infinity War", but also in the upcoming sequel of Marvel's "Ant-Man". Showbiz411 reports that Renner may make an appearance as the iconic archer in the upcoming "Ant-Man and the Wasp".

Renner's involvement with "Infinity War" and his possible involvement with "Ant-Man" sequel may be the reason why he won't return in "Mission: Impossible 6". During Paramount's presentation at CinemaCon on Tuesday, March 28, Renner's name wasn't included in the list of returning cast members in "Mission: Impossible 6", despite the fact that he played one of key characters in previous two "Mission: Impossible" movies.

While it hasn't been confirmed whether or not Renner will join "Ant-Man and the Wasp", his appearance in the "Ant-Man" sequel is expected, since both Hawkeye and Paul Rudd's Ant-Man were Team Cap in "Captain America: Civil War". In the meantime, the archer can be seen in "Avengers: Infinity War", which is currently filming and set to be released on May 4, 2018.

"Ant-Man and the Wasp" will continue the adventure of reformed thief and electronics expert Scott Lang. Rudd will reprise his role as Ant-Man in the movie. Also starring in "Ant-Man and the Wasp" are Evangeline Lilly, Michael Pena and Michael Douglas. The movie is set to hit U.S. theaters on July 6, 2018.
