Calvin Harris Announces New Single Featuring Pharrell, Ariana Grande and Young Thug

Following his single 'Slide' which was released last month, the Scottish DJ teased another star-studded single called 'Heatstroke' on social media.

AceShowbiz - Calvin Harris announced another gigantic collaboration. He took to Twitter on Tuesday, March 28 to share a cover art for his new single, "Heatstroke", which features Ariana Grande, Pharrell Williams and Young Thug. The "My Way" hitmaker revealed the summery artwork along with the studio credits of all the people involved in the upcoming track.

Harris co-wrote the new track with Pharrel and Brittany Hazzard (professionally known as Starrah). The credit list also shows the music instruments used in the song, which are a piano, an electric piano, a flexitone, a synthesizer and a 1965 Fender Stratocaster. It looks like fans can expect some grooves in "Heatstroke".

Although the release date hasn't been revealed, fans raved about the teasing cover art. A fan tweeted, "Lord, I never know what's coming. You keep surprising me!!! Can't wait to hear the new song!!!" Another fan gushed, "WHY U CREEPIN UP ON US LIKE THIS FOR MAN. I AM BEYOND EXCITED."

"Heatsroke" is the follow-up single to Harris' recent track, "Slide", which was released last February. "Slide" was Harris' first single in 2017, and the seasonal song features Frank Ocean and Migos. Fans probably expect "Heatstroke" teaser after this, as the Scottish DJ had shared a cover art and a teaser of "Slide" before it was released.

Taylor Swift's ex promised his fans that he would create "more joyful music in 2017. Previously, he tweeted about his music, "I worked with the greatest artists of our generation!!! I'm in the mixing stage now. I listen back and can't believe what we created....In 2017 I'm making music to make your soul happy!!!!"

On the other hand, his collaborators are also busy with their own projects. Young Thug has appeared on some biggest releases of this year such as Mike WiLL Made It's "Ransom 2", Rick Ross' "Rather You Than Me" and Drake's "More Life". Meanwhile, Pharrel Williams is reportedly working on a musical called "Atlantis" which is inspired by his childhood in Virginia.
