AceShowbiz - Alex Rodriguez reportedly wants to marry Jennifer Lopez very soon. However, the couple may need some more time to make it happen because the diva and the baseball star are still getting acclimated with each other's children and also busy taking care of their jobs.
"For a marriage or engagement to happen this year is a little far fetched and will probably be pushed to a later date, maybe 2018 or 2019," a source says to HollywoodLife.com. "They are being realistic and work is obviously something that is taking over things right now." The source adds, "Jen is hustling like crazy for the rest of the year and Alex is busy with all his broadcasting commitments."
The insider goes on explaining, "They are both still getting acclimated with each other's kids, and they just want everything to be perfect." The insider continues, "They know that special things take time, so there is no rush. Everything is going smoothly right now."
As previously reported, J.Lo and A-Rod were spotted on a steamy date night in Beverly Hills over the weekend. It was also said that the two were head over heels for each other as they both loved each other's personalities and also had so many common interests.
"[Jennifer and Alex] both are all about each other. They both love that they are family oriented, successful and love that they have so many common interests," said an insider. "They are both at an age were they don't want to play games anymore and are in it for the long haul."
