Cyborg's Story Is the Heart of 'Justice League', Says Zack Snyder
Movie

Among the superheroes in 'Justice League', Ray Fisher's Cyborg may be the less-known character for common viewers, but Snyder suggests that his part in the movie will be essential.

AceShowbiz - "Justice League" has excited fans by releasing its trailer and offering a brand new look of "Justice League" members, which include Ben Affleck's Batman, Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa's Aquaman, Ezra Miller's The Flash and Ray Fisher's Cyborg. Among the five superheroes, Victor Stone a.k.a. Cyborg is probably the most obscure of all, judging from the fact that common viewers may find him less familiar than the other characters.

However, Director Zack Snyder has just revealed that Cyborg is actually the heart of "Justice League" story. In an interview with USA Today, the director talks about the essential part of Cyborg in the movie.

"They're each such awesome personalities in the movie," says Snyder. He then adds, "You have Jason stomping around as this inked hairy man, just this mythic figure. And you've got Ezra, who's full of life and hilarious and all over the place and amazing, a really fun and also poignant Flash. And Ray's story is in a lot of the ways the heart of the movie."

The news that Cyborg's story will be the heart of the movie shouldn't be too surprising for DC fans. In another interview last month, Snyder revealed that Cyborg cybernatic body was actually built from Mother Box, or living computer, which first glimpse was shown by Cyborg's father Silas in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice". Thus, Cyborg seemingly has a plenty of backstory to explore.

As for the entire "Justice League" superheroes, Snyder says that the "thing that's awesome about these icons is that a lot of them we haven't seen in the movies before on the big screen." He later adds, "It's kinda fun to really let (the actors) stretch their legs and inhabit those characters. It is a process to make a team out of this group of individuals, but for the greater good maybe they can put their differences aside."

Snyder also suggests that Henry Cavill's Superman will make an important appearance in "Justice League", but the director keeps his role under wraps. "It's hard to have a 'Justice League' without Superman. That's how I feel about it," says Snyder.

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman's selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat.

Other "Justice League" cast members include Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, J.K. Simmons as James Gordon, Amber Heard as Mera, Ciaran Hinds as Steppenwolf and Kiersey Clemons as Iris West. The movie is scheduled to hit U.S. theaters on November 17.
