While promoting his new album on Power 105.1's 'The Breakfast Club', the 'Ready' hitmaker claims that Nicki wasn't the star she is today when she appeared on his 2010 single 'Bottoms Up'.

AceShowbiz - Trey Songz isn't happy about how Nicki Minaj called out him on Twitter last month. Nicki felt that the 32-year-old rapper didn't defend her honor after Remy Ma accused her of sleeping with him on her diss track "ShETHER".

While promoting his new album on Power 105.1's "The Breakfast Club", the Virginia rapper wanted to clarify Nicki and Remy's ongoing feud. When asked if Nicki had apologized for lashing out at him on Twitter, Trey responded, "No, she hasn't, and Nicki, I love you." He added, "Nicki said she gave me six platinum, but let's keep it real, Nicki ain't had s**t before 'Bottoms Up'."

The "Ready" hitmaker went on claiming that Nicki wasn't the star she is today when she appeared on his 2010 single. "All before it was like, look she's hanging with [Lil] Wayne," he said, before adding that he still loves her. "Who's the wild girl with the wild hair? I love you, Nicki," he added. "I love you. You came at me wrong. You disrespected me. But I love you."

During the interview, Trey also shot down the idea that he would team up with Meek Mill for a Nicki diss song. He revealed that the reason they were pictured together was because he and the Philadelphia rapper worked in the studio together around the time of Trey's listening party for his new effort "Tremaine The Album".

Meek has reportedly been planning to make a clap-back song in response to Nicki's "Regret in Your Tears", which is seemingly about her past relationship with him. "He's pissed and has basically called Nicki every name in the book behind closed doors," a source previously said. He has allegedly been thinking of collaborating with Remy on his upcoming diss track.
